Spanish PM Rajoy refuses to resign over corruption scandal

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - In response to latest corruption accusations, Spanish PM Mariano Rajoy said today in Madrid that he had no intention of stepping down and that he would not allow the scandal to affect his reform plan.

"I will defend political stability and I will fulfill the mandate given to me by Spanish voters," he declared at a press conference held jointly with Polish PM Donald Tusk.
