AUD/USD continues to trade firm near 7-week highs on Wednesday despite the greenback has staged a broad comeback versus other counterparts.

Fed Lockhart: Case for lift-off is compelling

President of Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Dennis Lockhart said that the case for a rate hike is compelling, unless there is a dramatic shift in the data ahead of the meeting. He added that December FOMC meeting will be 'historic in character'.
