US: November trade deficit shrinks to $34.25 billion
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The US trade deficit narrowed to $34.25 billion in November from $39.33 billion in the prior month, recording the smallest deficit since October 2009, the Commerce Department said Tuesday. This reading beats expectations of a $40.00 billion deficit.
US exports rose by 0.9% to a seasonally adjusted $194.86 billion in November while imports fell by 1.4% to $229.11 billion.
